We urgently need good quality donationsYou can help us by checking in your attic, under your bed, and in your wardrobe for things you no longer wear or use.

We would like donations of any of the following.money spinner

  • Accessories including pairs of shoes, belts, handbags and jewellery
  • Bric a brac, pictures, mirrors
  • Bedding, towels, table cloths, blankets, cushions in clean and undamaged condition
  • Books, CDs, DVDs, records, games (games with all the relevant parts)
  • Tables, chairs, sideboards, coffee tables etc (all soft furnishings must have a fire label)*
  • Newspapers for recycling
  • Bicycles
  • Prams in good condition
  • Children and adult clothing in clean and good condition

What not to donate

Unfortunately we are unable to sell:

  • Damaged or broken toys or other items
  • Soft furnishing without a fire label
  • Furniture that has been left out in the rain
  • Soiled, wet or mouldy clothes
  • Odd shoes (Sorry, we can only take pairs of shoes)
  • Dirty or damaged curtains
  • Dirty or damaged duvets
  • Car seats
  • Bicycle and horse riding helmets
  • VHS videos
  • Work wear (overalls/boiler suits)
  • Cassette tapes
  • Large electrical items
  • Mattresses
  • Garden/Kitchen Waste
  • Dirty nappies
  • Broken, dirty or soiled prams/buggies
  • Plastic coat hangers
  • Ironing boards with broken parts
  • Burnt or damaged pots and pans
  • Faded or dirty curtains
  • Broken plastic storage boxes
  • Damaged and unusable suitcases/holdalls
  • Broken or chipped items or with pieces missing
  • Broken furniture
  • Parts of furniture
  • Car parts
  • Used personal hygiene items (including hair removal creams, lubricants and condoms)
  • Empty boxes, papers, packaging, used products (including shower gels, soaps etc.)

Please bring your donations along during our opening hours

Sorry we don’t have a collection and delivery service, however if you can get large items to us we can sell them to raise money for people with learning disabilities.

We are always so grateful to all you marvelous donors out there, and there are many ways you can become a donor too, pop into the shop with your donations, or you can make cash donations at the tills, as well as following the link here…..

If you are clearing a house please ring the shop in advance to agree a day for bring in a large amount of donations so that we can plan our sorting of donations safely.
