01 Feb Many thanks to Rob at Lloyds Bank
Lloyds Bank colleague, Rob Aveston of Ely Branch, spent the evening at Branching Out’s Charity Fundraising Disco in October, as part of Lloyds Banking Group’s commitment to volunteering.
Rob used his ‘Day to Make a Difference’ to the local community by taking part in the event, and on Monday February 1st, Rob visited Branching Out and presented a cheque for £500.
‘Day to Make a Difference’ is Lloyds Banking Group’s volunteering programme, where colleagues are invited to use at least one working day a year helping support their local community.
Rob, Senior Personal Banking Advisor, said: “As part of the Group’s ambition to Help Britain Prosper, I was thrilled to use my ‘Day to Make a Difference’ to support local people and help our community thrive. I used the Lloyds Banking Group’s Matched Giving Programme in order to match funds raised, up to £500, which I’m confident will help to financially support this great local charity!”
Susan Wiggans, General Manager of Branching Out charity, said “We are very grateful for the support from the Ely Branch of Lloyds Banking Group for their donation to help our work. As a charity we rely on the generosity of others to continue our vital work helping some of the most vulnerable people in our community.”
Many thanks again to Rob at Lloyds Bank
