Our Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance of the organisation, ensuring that it is run safety and effectively. They delegate day to day running of the organisation to the General Manager, Debra Smith.
Trustees do not have any operational role on a day to day basis, their remit is to provide a strategic overview of where Branching Out is heading. They meet every two months to discuss finance and strategic issues.
Debra Smith joined the charity in 2023. She was appointed General Manager with responsibility for the day to day running of the charity on behalf of the Board of Trustees.
